Ingredients

  • 4 sub rolls or hoagie rolls
  • ½ lb roast beef deli slices
  • ½ lb beef salami slices
  • ½ lb beef pepperoni slices
  • 812 slices provolone cheese
  • Lettuce, tomatoes, or onions (optional for serving)
  • 4 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • ¼ cup Italian dressing (pork-free)
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon mustard (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Slice rolls lengthwise, keeping one side attached.
  2. Mix melted butter with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, onion powder, and salt.
  3. Generously brush garlic butter inside each roll.
  4. Spoon a little Italian dressing into each roll.
  5. Add roast beef first, then beef salami, then beef pepperoni.
  6. Place 2–3 slices provolone into each sandwich.
  7. Wrap each sandwich loosely in foil to retain moisture.
  8. Bake 15–18 minutes until cheese melts and sandwiches are heated through.
  9. Open foil and bake 3–4 more minutes for light crispiness.
  10. Add optional toppings like lettuce or onions and enjoy immediately.
