Description

This quick and easy 2-banana banana bread is Max’s favorite, made with just two ripe bananas, creating a sweet, moist loaf with a golden crispy top.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 Ripe bananas
  • 1 ½ cups Flour
  • ½ cup Butter/oil
  • ½ cup Brown sugar
  • 1 Large Egg
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp Baking soda
  • ¼ tsp Salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C)
  2. Grease loaf pan
  3. Mash 2 ripe bananas
  4. Mix wet ingredients (butter, sugar, egg, vanilla)
  5. Mix dry ingredients (flour, baking soda, salt)
  6. Combine wet and dry ingredients
  7. Pour batter into pan and smooth top
  8. Tap pan to release air bubbles
  9. Bake for 45-55 minutes, check with a toothpick
  10. Cool for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack

Notes

  • Can substitute flour with whole wheat.
  • Can use oil for dairy-free option.
  • Flax egg can replace large egg.
  • Brown sugar adds moisture and flavor.
