Description

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/3 cup butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup chopped walnuts

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 °F (175 °C).
  2. Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  3. In a large bowl, mash bananas until smooth; stir in melted butter.
  4. Mix in sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract.
  5. Sprinkle baking soda and salt over mixture; stir in.
  6. Add flour and stir just until incorporated.
  7. Fold in chopped walnuts.
  8. Pour batter into prepared pan.
  9. Bake for 55–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  10. Let cool in pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
