Instructions
- Preheat your waffle iron or silicone bat-shaped waffle mold. Lightly grease it.

- In another bowl, whisk milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Add gel food coloring if using.
- Gradually pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, whisking gently until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Pour batter into the mold or iron. Cook according to appliance directions until crisp.
- If not using a mold, cut cooked waffles into bat shapes with a cookie cutter once cooled.
