Description

A deeply chocolatey and fudgy brownie cake that’s easy to make and incredibly satisfying.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • Optional: Splash of coffee or espresso powder

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter and let it cool slightly.
  2. In a bowl, mix the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder together.
  3. In another bowl, whisk the eggs and sugar until fluffy.
  4. Combine the dry ingredients with the egg mixture.
  5. Stir in the melted butter and vanilla extract.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Pour the batter into a greased pan.
  8. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30-40 minutes.
  9. Let cool slightly before slicing.

Notes

For a richer flavor, add a pinch of sea salt on top before baking. Adjust baking time depending on your oven.
