Description

Delightfully festive Candy Cane Jello Shots featuring layers of peppermint and berry flavors, perfect for holiday gatherings.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 packet red gelatin (cherry or raspberry)
  • 1 packet white gelatin (vanilla or sweetened condensed milk flavored)
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • Peppermint schnapps (to taste)
  • Crushed candy canes (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare red gelatin by dissolving it in 1 cup boiling water and stirring until completely dissolved.
  2. In a separate bowl, prepare the white gelatin in the same way.
  3. Pour the red gelatin into cups, filling them halfway, and chill until tacky (about 15-20 minutes).
  4. Carefully pour the white gelatin as the next layer over the back of a spoon onto the red layer.
  5. Chill until fully set (about 30-45 minutes).
  6. Once set, add a splash of peppermint schnapps on top of each cup.
  7. Garnish with crushed candy canes just before serving.

Notes

Allow each layer to cool slightly before adding the next layer to prevent melting.
