- 5 eggs, lightly beaten
- 4 cups milk

- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 6 tablespoons butter
- ½ cup heavy cream
- ½ teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350℉ and generously grease a 9×13-inch casserole dish.
- Cut the brioche or challah bread into 1-inch chunks and place them into the dish.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, sugar, cinnamon, and salt until smooth.
- Pour the custard mixture over the bread pieces, ensuring all are coated.
- Place the dish in the oven and bake for 40 to 45 minutes, until the custard is set and the bread is golden brown.
- In a saucepan, melt butter and brown sugar over medium heat, stirring for 5 to 7 minutes until smooth.
- Add heavy cream to the mixture, stir until combined, then remove from heat.
- Cut the bread pudding into slices and serve warm with caramel sauce.
