Description

A decadent layered dessert combining cookie dough, cheesecake, and pizza for the ultimate treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs, room temperature
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips (plus extra for topping)
  • 16 oz (2 packages) cream cheese, softened
  • 2/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs, room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup chocolate sauce or ganache
  • Whipped cream (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 12-inch deep dish pizza pan or springform pan.
  2. Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to wet mixture, mixing on low speed.
  5. Fold in 1 1/2 cups of the chocolate chips.
  6. Press 2/3 of the cookie dough into the bottom and sides of the pan.
  7. In a clean bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth, then add sugar and beat well.
  8. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla and sour cream until just combined.
  9. Pour the cheesecake mixture over the cookie dough base.
  10. Place remaining cookie dough in small pieces over the cheesecake, then sprinkle remaining chocolate chips on top.
  11. Bake for 45-55 minutes until edges are golden brown and center is set but jiggles slightly.
  12. Let cool at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
  13. Before serving, drizzle with chocolate sauce and add whipped cream if desired.

Notes

Allow ingredients to come to room temperature for best results. Ensure proper cooling time to prevent a runny center.
