Description
A quick and easy dinner featuring tender steak strips in a silky garlic butter sauce, served with noodles.
Ingredients

- 1 pound flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 8 ounces egg noodles or ramen noodles
- 6 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 3 green onions, sliced
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Slice flank steak into thin, 1/4-inch strips and marinate in a mixture of soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and black pepper for at least 10 minutes.
- Cook the noodles in salted boiling water according to package directions and toss with olive oil.
- In a skillet, melt 4 tablespoons of butter with olive oil, add garlic and red pepper flakes, and sauté until fragrant.
- Remove steak from marinade, pat dry, and cook in a hot skillet for 1-2 minutes per side until browned.
- Add remaining butter, beef broth, and brown sugar to the skillet, then add cooked noodles and toss to coat.
- Return steak and juices to the skillet, mix in green onions, and serve garnished with parsley.
Notes
For a gluten-free option, use rice noodles instead. Can substitute chicken or shrimp for steak, or use mushrooms for a vegetarian version.
