A creamy and festive Halloween Pumpkin Cheesecake with a chocolate Oreo crust, spiced pumpkin filling, and a spooky chocolate spiderweb decoration. This easy-to-make dessert is perfect for any Halloween party.

- 1.5 cups Oreo cookies, finely crushed
- 2 Tbsp butter or margarine, melted
- 24 oz cream cheese
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 15 oz pumpkin puree
- 1 Tbsp pumpkin pie spice
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 square semi-sweet chocolate
- 1 tsp butter or margarine
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (325°F if using a dark nonstick pan).
- Mix cookie crumbs with melted butter, press into the bottom of a springform pan to form the crust.
- Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
- Add pumpkin puree and pumpkin pie spice, mix well.
- Add eggs one at a time, blending gently.
- Pour the filling over the prepared crust.
- Bake for 50–55 minutes, or until the center is almost set.
- Cool slightly, then spread the sour cream evenly over the top.
- Melt the semi-sweet chocolate with 1 tsp butter.
- Drizzle the melted chocolate in a spiral over the cheesecake.
- Using a toothpick, drag lines from the center outward to create a spiderweb design.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.
Notes
- Best served chilled.
- Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
- Freeze slices wrapped in plastic for up to 2 months.
