Description

A creamy and festive Halloween Pumpkin Cheesecake with a chocolate Oreo crust, spiced pumpkin filling, and a spooky chocolate spiderweb decoration. This easy-to-make dessert is perfect for any Halloween party.


Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups Oreo cookies, finely crushed
  • 2 Tbsp butter or margarine, melted
  • 24 oz cream cheese
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 15 oz pumpkin puree
  • 1 Tbsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 square semi-sweet chocolate
  • 1 tsp butter or margarine

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (325°F if using a dark nonstick pan).
  2. Mix cookie crumbs with melted butter, press into the bottom of a springform pan to form the crust.
  3. Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  4. Add pumpkin puree and pumpkin pie spice, mix well.
  5. Add eggs one at a time, blending gently.
  6. Pour the filling over the prepared crust.
  7. Bake for 50–55 minutes, or until the center is almost set.
  8. Cool slightly, then spread the sour cream evenly over the top.
  9. Melt the semi-sweet chocolate with 1 tsp butter.
  10. Drizzle the melted chocolate in a spiral over the cheesecake.
  11. Using a toothpick, drag lines from the center outward to create a spiderweb design.
  12. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.
