- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried dill
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (or to taste)
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (or to taste)
- Wooden or metal skewers
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine Greek yogurt, olive oil, lemon juice, oregano, dill, garlic powder, black pepper, salt, cayenne pepper, and red pepper flakes to make the firecracker chicken marinade.
- Add the chicken cubes to the marinade and toss to coat. Marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours in the refrigerator.
- If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning.
- Thread the marinated chicken onto the skewers.
- Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
- Grill the chicken skewers for 4-6 minutes per side, or until cooked through and nicely charred.
