- ½ cup Korean BBQ sauce (gochujang-based)
- 6 steamed bao buns
- ½ cup cucumber pickles (quick-pickled)
- 2 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
- ¼ cup fresh cilantro leaves
Instructions
- Slice chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces and season with salt, pepper, garlic, and ginger.
- Marinate the chicken in Korean BBQ sauce for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook marinated chicken until golden brown (about 6-8 minutes).
- Steam bao buns according to package instructions.
- Assemble each bao by filling it with cooked chicken and topping with cucumber pickles, sesame seeds, green onions, and cilantro.
