- 12 lasagna noodles
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 pound Italian sausage
- 3 cups ricotta cheese
- 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

- 1 egg
- 4 cups marinara sauce
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook lasagna noodles in boiling salted water according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, cook ground beef and Italian sausage until browned. Drain excess fat.
- In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, egg, parsley, basil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce in a 9×13 inch baking dish. Layer 3 noodles, then half of the cheese mixture.
- Add half of the meat mixture, followed by 1 cup of marinara sauce and 1 cup of mozzarella.
- Repeat the layering process, finishing with noodles, marinara sauce, and remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- Let the lasagna cool for 15 minutes before slicing and serving.
