Description

A copycat recipe for Olive Garden’s famous spinach artichoke dip. This creamy, cheesy appetizer is perfect for parties and gatherings, served hot with bread or chips.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (10 ounce) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
  • 1 (14 ounce) can artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped yellow onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the thawed and squeezed dry spinach, drained and chopped artichoke hearts, mayonnaise, sour cream, Parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, chopped onion, and minced garlic.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix everything together until well combined. This is your Olive Garden spinach artichoke dip mixture.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish or oven-safe skillet.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the dip is hot and bubbly and lightly golden on top.
  6. Serve your homemade Olive Garden spinach artichoke dip hot with tortilla chips, crusty bread, or your favorite dippers.

Notes

  • For an extra cheesy dip, add a bit more mozzarella cheese on top before baking.
  • If you don’t have fresh garlic, you can use 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder.
  • Ensure the spinach is squeezed very dry to prevent a watery dip.
  • This copycat Olive Garden spinach artichoke dip is best served immediately.
