This recipe for Instant Pot Rice is a quick and easy method for cooking fluffy, tender white rice every time.

- 2 cups long-grain white rice
- 2 cups liquid (water or broth)
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt (optional)
Instructions
- Measure out 2 cups long-grain white rice and rinse under cold water for 1-2 minutes until the water runs clear.
- Add the rinsed rice to the inner pot, along with 2 cups liquid and ½ teaspoon kosher salt. Ensure the rice is fully submerged.
- Place the lid on the instant pot and seal the venting knob. Set the cooking time to 3 minutes on High Pressure.
- Once cooking is complete, allow the pressure to release naturally for at least 10-15 minutes.
- Remove the lid and fluff the rice with a fork to separate the grains. Serve as desired.
Notes
- This method works for any variety of long-grain white rice, including jasmine and basmati.
