Homemade Ritz Crackers with Sesame, Garlic, and Spiced Herbs

- 3 sleeves Ritz crackers
- 6 tablespoons butter (or a vegan alternative), melted
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 tablespoon dried parsley
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 teaspoon low-sodium soy sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, sesame seeds, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, dried parsley, red pepper flakes if using, and soy sauce. Mix thoroughly.
- Gently toss the Ritz crackers in the seasoning mixture ensuring each cracker is evenly coated.
- Spread the coated crackers out in a single layer on two large baking sheets.
- Place the baking sheets in the preheated oven and bake for 20 minutes. Turn the crackers halfway through baking.
- Once the crackers are golden and crisp, remove from the oven and allow them to cool to room temperature.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
