Crispy Roasted Orange Chicken – Juicy, Bright & Flavorful
Ingredients

- 4 chicken thighs or drumsticks (or 2 chicken breasts)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 large orange, zested and juiced
- 2 tbsp honey
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Optional Toppings: Fresh parsley, orange slices, sesame seeds
Instructions
- Heat oven to 400°F (204°C) for crispy skin.
- Whisk orange juice, zest, honey, olive oil, garlic, paprika, Italian seasoning, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Pat dry and rub lightly with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Place in a baking dish and pour marinade over, turning to coat.
- Bake for 35–45 minutes until golden and cooked to 165°F (74°C).
- Broil 2–3 minutes to caramelize the skin.
- Let rest 5 minutes. Garnish with parsley or orange slices.
