- 1 sheet Puff Pastry Dough
- 2 cups Potatoes
- 2 tablespoons Ghee
- 1 tablespoon Ginger
- 2 whole Green Chilis
- 1 tablespoon Garam Masala
- 1 teaspoon Chili Powder
- 1 teaspoon Cumin Powder
- 1 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
- 1 teaspoon Fennel Powder
- 1 teaspoon Chaat Masala
- 1 cup Frozen Green Peas
- 2 tablespoons Coriander Leaves
- 1 tablespoon Lime Juice
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 cup Green Chutney
- 1/2 cup Tamarind Chutney
- 1 cup Yogurt
- 1/4 cup Ketchup
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180℃ (350°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- Roll out the puff pastry into a 9×13 inch rectangle, trimming as needed. Poke the pastry with a fork and bake for 20-28 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
- Boil the potatoes until tender, then crumble them into a large bowl.
- Melt ghee in a pan over medium heat, add cumin seeds and let sizzle.
- Stir in ginger and green chilis, frying for about one minute.
- Add frozen green peas and cook for 1-2 minutes.
- Incorporate chili powder, garam masala, cumin powder, turmeric, and fennel, cooking for 2 minutes.
- Fold in the crumbled potatoes, seasoning with salt, then mix in coriander and lime juice.
- Spoon the filling into the baked puff pastry shell evenly.
- Cut the tart into squares and serve warm with green chutney or yogurt.
