Description

A flavorful and easy grilled chicken recipe seasoned with garlic and parmesan that is perfect for summer cookouts.


Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Red chili flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix olive oil, minced garlic, parmesan, oregano, basil, salt, pepper, and red chili flakes (if using).
  2. Marinate the chicken in the mixture for at least 30 minutes, or preferably overnight.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Grill the chicken for 20-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until cooked through (internal temp should reach 165°F).
  5. Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing.

Notes

For a dairy-free version, substitute parmesan with nutritional yeast. If using thighs instead of breasts, adjust cooking time accordingly.
