Description
Indulge in the deliciousness of campfire s’mores in a convenient oven-baked bar form, featuring layers of graham cracker, chocolate, and marshmallows.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs or shortbread base
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 2 cups mini marshmallows
- Optional: 1 cup shredded coconut
- Optional: 1 cup chopped walnuts
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment, leaving a 2-inch overhang. Lightly grease the exposed sides.
- Combine graham cracker crumbs with melted butter until the texture holds when pressed, then press evenly into the bottom of the pan.
- Pour sweetened condensed milk evenly over the crust, then sprinkle chocolate chips, coconut, and nuts, followed by scattering mini marshmallows on top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until edges are golden and marshmallows show light to medium color. For extra toasting, broil for 1-2 minutes at the end, watching carefully.
- Let cool on a rack for 10-15 minutes to set and use parchment overhang to lift out before cutting into bars.
Notes
For a creative twist, try adding smoked salt into the crust for a campfire flavor or using dark chocolate shards for a gourmet approach.
