Irresistibly Spicy Celery Stir Fry in Just 6 Minutes


Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 tablespoons Oyster Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Corn Starch
  • 2 tablespoons Water
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable Oil (High smoke point oil)
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger, finely grated
  • 2 cloves Garlic Cloves, finely diced
  • 2 tablespoons Fermented Black Bean Paste with Chili
  • 4 cups Celery, cut into ½ inch pieces
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Seeds (Toasted)

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine the Oyster Sauce, Sugar, Corn Starch, and Water until well blended.
  2. Add the Vegetable Oil to a large pan or wok over high heat.
  3. Once hot, add the Ginger, Garlic, and Fermented Black Bean Paste and stir continuously for about 30 seconds.
  4. Toss in the Celery pieces and cook for 3 minutes while stirring continuously.
  5. Deglaze the pan with a splash of Water and stir in the prepared sauce for 1 more minute.
  6. Transfer the stir fry to a serving plate and top with Sesame Seeds.
