Description

A simple and tasty meal featuring tender beef and fresh asparagus, all cooked in a convenient foil pack for easy cleanup.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound beef (sliced, such as sirloin or flank steak)
  • 1 bunch asparagus (trimmed)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon garlic (minced)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix olive oil, soy sauce, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  3. On a large piece of aluminum foil, place sliced beef and asparagus.
  4. Drizzle the sauce mixture over the beef and asparagus.
  5. Fold the foil into a packet, sealing all edges.
  6. Place the packet on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes or until the beef is cooked to your liking and the asparagus is tender.
  7. Carefully open the foil, letting the steam escape.
  8. Serve warm and garnish with sesame seeds if desired.

Notes

Use fresh asparagus for a better texture and feel free to add other vegetables like bell peppers or mushrooms.
