- 1 pound beef (sliced, such as sirloin or flank steak)
- 1 bunch asparagus (trimmed)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon garlic (minced)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix olive oil, soy sauce, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
- On a large piece of aluminum foil, place sliced beef and asparagus.
- Drizzle the sauce mixture over the beef and asparagus.
- Fold the foil into a packet, sealing all edges.
- Place the packet on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes or until the beef is cooked to your liking and the asparagus is tender.
- Carefully open the foil, letting the steam escape.
- Serve warm and garnish with sesame seeds if desired.
Notes
Use fresh asparagus for a better texture and feel free to add other vegetables like bell peppers or mushrooms.
