A fun and tangy twist on a childhood favorite, these homemade dill pickle gummy worms are flavorful and simple to make.
Ingredients

- 1 cup dill pickle juice
- 3 tablespoons unflavored gelatin powder
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar (or 1 tablespoon honey)
- 2–3 drops green food coloring (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare your molds by placing them on a baking sheet.
- In a small saucepan, pour the pickle juice and sprinkle the gelatin over the surface. Let sit for 5 minutes to bloom.
- Place the saucepan over low heat and gently whisk until the gelatin is dissolved, about 2-3 minutes.
- Add the sugar and whisk until fully dissolved. If using, add food coloring and stir to combine.
- Remove the mixture from heat, let it cool for 2-3 minutes, then fill the molds.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 20 minutes until set.
- Once set, gently flex the molds to remove the gummies.
Notes
For extra tang, use juice from spicy pickles. For vegan option, substitute gelatin with agar-agar.
