Description

Delightful rolls that combine the creamy richness of cheesecake with the sweet tartness of fresh blueberries, perfect for dessert or breakfast.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Combine the warm milk, sugar, and yeast in a bowl. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
  2. Mix the flour and salt in a large bowl. Add the melted butter, egg, and yeast mixture; mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough for about 5-7 minutes until smooth. Let it rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 60 minutes.
  4. Beat together the cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and fold in the blueberries.
  5. Roll out the dough on a floured surface and spread the cheesecake filling evenly. Roll it up tightly and cut into rolls.
  6. Place the rolls in a greased baking pan, cover, and let rise for another 30 minutes.
  7. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Cool slightly, serve warm, and enjoy!

Notes

Serve warm with a dusting of powdered sugar or ice cream. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days.
