Ingredients

- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 package of saltine crackers
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and place saltine crackers in a single layer.
- In a saucepan, melt butter and brown sugar together over medium heat, stirring until it bubbles. Add vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.
- Pour the mixture over the saltine crackers, spreading it evenly.
- Bake for 10 minutes, then remove and sprinkle chocolate chips on top. Let it sit for a few minutes and then spread the melted chocolate evenly.
- Mix powdered sugar and cinnamon in a bowl and sprinkle over the chocolate layer. Allow it to cool and harden before breaking it into pieces.
Notes
To keep your Churro Toffee fresh, store it in an airtight container at room temperature. It should last for up to a week.
