Description
A delightful twist on the classic hamburger, featuring tender beef patties smothered in a rich and creamy whiskey sauce.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup whiskey
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Combine the ground beef, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce in a bowl. Form the mixture into patties.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked through. Once done, remove them from the pan and keep warm.
- Add whiskey to the same skillet and let it simmer for a minute.
- Stir in the heavy cream and Dijon mustard, cooking until the sauce is slightly thickened.
- Pour the creamy whiskey sauce over the hamburger steaks, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve immediately.
Notes
For best flavor, allow the beef patties to sit at room temperature for about 15 minutes before cooking. Don’t overcook the patties to maintain juiciness.
