Description

A delightful twist on classic Jambalaya, combining rich Cajun flavors with pizza.


Ingredients

  • 1 pizza dough
  • 1 cup cooked chicken, diced
  • 1 cup andouille sausage, sliced
  • 1 cup cooked shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup bell peppers, diced
  • 1 cup onion, diced
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven according to your pizza dough instructions.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sauté the onion and bell peppers until soft.
  3. Add the chicken, sausage, shrimp, cooked rice, tomatoes, and Cajun seasoning, stirring well to combine.
  4. Roll out the pizza dough on a baking sheet and spread the mixture evenly over it.
  5. Top with mozzarella cheese.
  6. Bake according to pizza dough instructions, usually about 15-20 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  7. Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped green onions.
  8. Slice and serve hot.

Notes

For a vegetarian version, omit the meat and add more vegetables. Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor.
