Description

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 3/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, butter, powdered sugar, and salt until it forms a dough.
  3. Press the dough into a tart pan and chill for 30 minutes.
  4. Bake the crust for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together granulated sugar, eggs, lemon juice, lemon zest, and heavy cream.
  6. Pour the lemon filling into the crust and bake for an additional 20 minutes.
  7. Allow to cool, then chill in the refrigerator before serving.
