Description
The viral tortilla fold hack creates crispy griddled quesadillas loaded with seasoned beef, cheese, lettuce, and sour cream.
Ingredients

- 1 12-inch flour tortilla
- ⅓ lb ground beef (80/20)
- 1½ tbsp taco seasoning
- 3 tbsp water
- ½ cup shredded Mexican blend cheese
- ½ cup shredded iceberg lettuce
- 2 tbsp diced tomato
- 2 tbsp sour cream
- 1 tbsp salsa
Instructions
- Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat, breaking into small pieces. Drain excess fat. Add taco seasoning and water, stir, and simmer for 2–3 minutes until a thick sauce forms around the meat. Set aside.
- Cut a slit from the center to the bottom edge of a 12-inch flour tortilla.
- Load four quadrants with fillings: Q1 (bottom-left) beef, Q2 (top-left) cheese, Q3 (top-right) lettuce and tomato, Q4 (bottom-right) sour cream and salsa.
- Fold the quesadilla into a triangular shape, starting with Q1 over Q2, then Q3, then Q4.
- Griddle the folded quesadilla seam-side down over medium heat for 3–4 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
Notes
Use burrito-sized tortillas for best results. Customize fillings based on preferences.
