Description

A fresh and simple dish showcasing ripe tomatoes, creamy mozzarella, and fresh basil, perfect as a side or appetizer.


Ingredients

  • Ripe tomatoes
  • Creamy mozzarella cheese
  • Fresh basil leaves
  • Olive oil
  • Balsamic vinegar
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

  1. Slice the tomatoes and mozzarella cheese into thick slices.
  2. On a serving platter, alternate layers of tomato and mozzarella slices.
  3. Tuck fresh basil leaves between the layers.
  4. Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
