Ingredients

- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup light corn syrup
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Grease a square baking dish and set aside.
- In a saucepan, combine the sugar, corn syrup, and cream. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until the sugar dissolves.
- Continue cooking without stirring until the mixture reaches 240°F (soft ball stage).
- Remove from heat and stir in the butter, vanilla, and salt.
- Pour the caramel mixture into the prepared dish and let it cool completely.
- Once cooled, cut into squares and wrap in wax paper.
